  • liquid measuring cup, measuring spoons, sauce pan


  • 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White sugar
  • 1 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


  • Combine the sugard and water in a saucepan and turn on medium heat. Bring that mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Let mixture boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. When mixture sticks to spoon it is ready. Remove from heat and add butter, maple flavoring, and nuts. Let cool. Mixture will thicken as it cools. Enjoy!
